Tree Swallow Evicting House Sparrow

Every spring when the tree swallows return to the Marine Nature Study Area in Oceanside, Long Island; the swallows attack the sparrows to take over the nesting boxes. I was there to capture this as it happened the other day. It's a fairly large crop and took some carful processing so I could share this moment.

Comments and suggestions welcome,

Morris

Regardless the sharpness, it's still a nice capture and good job on the process, Morris.

I'm glad they are able to do this. The House Sparrows are invasive and often present a problem to nesting swallows such as Purple Martins.

Great capture.  Sometimes it just doesn't matter the technical side is not 100% when the action is there, well done.
