Nostalgia II: Re-processed photos from 2004-2009 (300D, 500D)

Meanwhile I re-processed photos from Zurich where I lived for many years. It's really worth to re-process older photos because modern software has become very powerful.

For the entire series of latest Zurich photos please go here . I will certainly add more in the coming days and weeks. I show images from the older and from the modern parts of Zurich, including the zoo.

The "Schipfe", an old and beautiful complex of buildings.

The famous Limmat Quai.

In the narrow streets of the old town.

In a more modern part, above and along the Limmat.

The Grossmünster

Modern building in District 5.

King Leo posing for a portrait...

... and proudly presenting his family.

Spectacled bear in his nice territory.

One of them again at the water.

Go here for the entire series.

Please don't hesitate to comment or to ask questions.

All the best,
Reto

Those are beautiful photos.  They are nice and sharp.  I started my Canon DSLR system with a Canon T2i (550D) camera.

Thank you very much! I started with the 300D and I upgraded to the 5D MKII after the 500D.

Cheers,

I am doing the exact same thing (from 2003). I am very pleased too with the results. Beautiful crisp photos.

Regards,
There is always something to shoot/snap, you just have to know how to do it and have the right gear.

Yes, it's really worth it to invest that effort.

Beautiful crisp photos.

Thank you very much, Benji!

Re: Nostalgia II: Re-processed photos from 2009 (XSi/450D))

Love your reprocessed photos, so I thought I'd add two of mine here from 2009, taken with my Canon XSi. Shot RAW, originally converted with Canon DPP, new conversion with DxO PhotoLab 4 which I love. First one of each below is the original, second one is the new one. Palm Springs, California.

Maybe this one is a little "overcooked":

This one is much better than the original. Well done:

Have fun,
