DP2Q flash radio trigger

I have a Yongnuo RF-600XT radio trigger, but unable to go over 1/50 sync speed with DP2Q, it is just not triggering. My A7III is triggering higher shutter speeds.

Is there any solution? With on camera flash it is not problem.

Re: DP2Q flash radio trigger

I tried triggering external flash with on camera EF-140S in manual mode, and it triggers at high shutter speeds. Is it possible if the camera not detecting flash in hot shoe (same as connecting the radio transmitter), it's using electronic shutter and causes that not trigger over 1/50?

I don't think the DP series cameras have an electronic shutter.

Have you tried HSS on your flash or trigger? This is a weird problem for you to be having. What brand of camera is the trigger for? (Nikon or Canon or something else?) I think Sigma cameras are supposed to work best with flashes made to work with Canon cameras.

Younguo RF-600TX.

With my Sony A7III it fire flash over 1/50 shutter speed (I tried 1/250 and fired the flash), but with DP2Q fires only 1/50 and slower speeds.

What camera is it it designed to work with? May have something to do with the extra contacts on the trigger not getting the proper signal to let it know that it can sync above 1/50.

Also - this probably won't work but you can try - changing your camera from front to rear curtain flash or v.v. in case there's something different there.

As far as I know the dp series cameras are all leaf shutter so they should sync at just about any speed. Certainly my dp2 Merrill, dp3 Merrill and dp3 Quattro work that way.

I'm using pocket wizards and can sync at just about any speed.

None of mine did.

Perhaps this is a solution for my problem: Fixing Yongnuo RF-600TX
