Review of my Moto One 5G Ace

I've had it for 3 days, and I have quite a few nits with it.... So I should probably tell you right now, this is beyond any doubt, the best phone I've ever had. Granted, I've never paid $400 for a phone either.
Anyway for the pro's;
1) This phone has a TON of storage... 128gb (which I hear is twice that of the new IPhone 12 ?) But then I added a 256gb micro SD card too... So I should be set for a while. I put all of my best photos (in a smaller size good for viewing on the phone) and my entire music collection on the SD card, and it used about 6 gigs of 240'ish.
The operating system, plus about 45 random apps, used 19% of the phones built in 128gb.
Oh... This might matter to somebody... It comes with Windows 10, and Motorola has not promised that they will ever update it ? Hmmm. 10 works fine for me, but if you have to have the latest of everything, that might be a deal breaker for you.
2) This is the smoothest, most glitch free phone I've ever used. Honestly, I it thinks faster than I do. No waiting for anything. It has 6gb of RAM.
3) With tax + the SD memory chip, it was $425
I feel like I totally got what I paid for
The cons;
1) This is NOT a BIG phone like all the reviews said it was, and like I really wanted 🙁 This is a TALL phone. 6.7" diagonal... But with a 20:9 ratio. If this phone had been 1/2" wider, or in other words, same height with a 16:9 ratio, it would have been SOOO much better. I'd pay an $100 for that if it were an option.
2) Now, the sharpness is great, and it's pretty bright too... But it does have a little bit of a blueish / magenta cast. I don't really notice it.... until I hold it beside a phone with correct WB, like my GF's Google Pixel 3
3) The battery life is.... Eh... IMPO, to call it all day power, it would have to be litterally screen on, max settings, for 16+ hours. I killed this one in about 15 hrs... And the screen was probably only on like 8 hours.
I want so much battery life that I never even have to consider running out of power during my day..... +50%, so that I still don't have to worry about it 2 or 3 years from now with the enevitable battery degradation, either. This is not such a battery.
Anyway again, this is the best phone I ever had. But if it had a bigger screen, bigger battery, and perfect WB, it would be spectacular 🙂
