Infrared Stereokeh

After stereokeh, and then stereokeh with adapted projection lenses, I thought that I might try to shoehorn another aspect of photography I enjoy into the mix - near infrared.

So here is a stereokehogram taken this afternoon with a Ernemann Kinostar projection lens from about 1926, using a NEX6 body converted to near IR function using an 87C filter (850nm).

The top of the frame has been cropped because of wind movement.

Composing in IR was more difficult that I thought as highlights (bokehballs) come from different areas. The Kinostar did pretty well in IR and was acceptably sharp.

Detail from above pic to show the creditable performance of the ancient Kinostar.

I might have another bash at this with a different projection lens, perhaps one that gives extreme bokeh effects.
