Just discovered this feature on my NX1 by accident

sorry if this is old news to you or common-knowledge functionality, but today i noticed when you tap the screen to touch focus, you can then drag the focus box to create a new box for exposure, then set the exposure independently by touching somewhere else on the screen! kind of funny to discover something new on a 6 year old camera, it was like teaching an old dog new tricks when i saw a second box appear.
i was actually comparing low-light focusing speed of the NX1 to focusing tests of the Nikon Z6 I see on youtube when i found this out...obviously I can't match their environment exactly, but in my highly unscientific, subjective test, I was surprised how well the NX1 held up in a similarly dark room
i think once the sony A7 IV is released, or if the Nikon Z6/II drop to a certain price, I will finally be switching systems....the NX1 still gives me everything I need, but I've been holding back from lens purchases for a long time because I didn't want to deal what to do after I eventually switched. still sad about how Samsung dropped out...the NX1 has aged incredibly well, and it wasn't until the past year I really felt new cameras were actually a real upgrade, and even then, the NX1 is still great.
one of the hardest parts will be my hands having to get used to a new camera, the NX1 ergonomics are so comfortable for me and the muscle memory is there. i also love the APS-C size...but I don't care for Fuji and don't trust the support of other companies' APS systems.
anyway...tacking on random sentiments, NX1 will always have a special place in my heart.
