Re: Recent Crosseye Infrareds

the quality of these is amazing! Did you infraredize the Fuji or use something else? The quality seems too high for the fuji

EDIT: NVM, just read it was using the cha-cha method

Thanx!

These are cha-cha with a Full Spectrum converted Canon G9 point & shoot with an IR720 filter, and taking 3 bracketed HDR exposures per side.

Also, slightly selenium-toned.

I really enjoyed the infrared and also the color shots of the sandstone areas.  You can see just how much 3D adds to what would be just a flat shot.  Very nice!  I also liked the time lapse shot of the distant mountain range that starts with the moon setting.  The sunset, sped up the way you did, was spectacular.  Thanks for sharing.  Now I have to go rest and let my cross eye headache subside.

Nice IR, but again, your backgrounds -mostly dramatic sky - are flat 2D-dimensionless…needed far more than cha-cha separation of base for hyper stereo to get some dimensionality in your backgrounds..

The pairs are very well made, with correct depth in all planes, taking into account the content.

I think the pairs are excellent 3d content.

Re: Recent Crosseye Infrareds

Since the backgrounds are "near-infinity", why should they contain "dimentionality" other than having near zero disparity? That would be a violation of reality.

Are you potentially confusing dimentionality that might arise from movement?
