A good week

Picked up used 12-40 2.8 earlier this week was blown away with Quality difference from kit lens 14-150. Went to my local shop traded in 3 cheaper OMD lenses and got a new 40-150 2.8. Spent under 1000  dollars on both. It has really changed my outlook and Quality of images. Pro Lenses make a big difference.

I have always found it best to invest in the best glass I can - even if it means saving and waiting. The biggest plus is that there is less room to blame the gear for shots not up to par and encourage the one pushing the shutter to up their skills to the level the glass is capable of. Cameras come and go - good glass is a great investment.

Happy for you!

Re: A good week

A VERY solid pair of lenses and isn't it nice to have continuous f:2.8 from 12 to 150mm?

Enjoy!
