Video sound when transferring to Android via Camera Remote

If I take video on my X-T3, then transfer it to my Android mobile via Camera Remote, the sound playback is just a really loud digital white noise. This is no matter what media viewer I use to play it, and also if I transfer from my phone to my PC.

If I play back on the camera, the audio is fine. It is also fine if I remove the SD card and copy the file directly to my PC.

It's as if Camera Remote trying to re-encode the audio track, and stuffing it up in the process.

Has anyone else also come across this?

Hi, I also face the same issue when transferring from my x-s10 to an android phone. No matter what I do the noise is just distortion. I don't think this has been fixed and it is really frustrating as having to transfer via pc is not ideal.

The .MOV extension is the problem. I convert the files to .MP4 and then they play fine.

1) You can do it on Android, open the file in the Photos app, hit EDIT, then make any slight change, brightness, filter, contrast, anything, then hit SAVE COPY and it will be saved as MP4.

OR

2) Use WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe (paid app) to convert them to MP4, ensuring high quality is selected in the options. I tried many other apps but the quality is crap, they compress the file so much, WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe is the only one I tried that has the highest quality.
