Some focus-stacked flowers with the M100
10

I used a rail, and stacked the result in Helicon Focus 7. This is the Sigma 56 mm lens. There may be some processing artifacts in the images; I was mainly seeing how best to use the camera controls. I liked the touch-screen shutter, but the other touch screen features, not so much.

These first two are 'in the wild' (outside, on the plant). There was a little wind, and scattered clouds.

Nicely done!  I shoot a lot of botanical pics with my M6ii.  It's built in focus bracketing makes it almost too easy.  If you're indoors, you might tether your camera and use Canon's software to step the focus of the camera.  At least that's what I used to do with my 70D.  There are also some apps, some free, that make it even easier.

The folks on the macro forum here might have further ideas, but be warned - they like bugs better than plants!

I don't think that feature is present in the M100

Those are the hard-core macro types. My flower stacks probably should be categorized as 'still life'.

OK.  I much prefer still life to bugs...

Well done!  Flowers definitely benefit from stacking!
