Mounting flash that requires the central hotshoe pin on a 250d?

Hey guys,
I've run into a rather unexpected issue with my Canon 250d while purchasing a flash for it.

It seems that Canon had removed the central pin (or universal pin, not entirely sure what the precise naming is) on this model.

Due to that, a flash unit that I've recently purchased is incompatible with the camera and I'm trying to weigh my options.

After some digging, I found that there's some Canon compatible flash transmitters that are sporting a hotshoe slot with a central pin on them, one of them is the Godox X1T.

I was wondering whether or not these flash transmitters could actually be the solution to mounting flash units that require the central pin?

And regardless of that - I'd love to know if there's any other solutions that I might be missing.
(Preferably ones that don't require me to dump the flash unit that I purchased :-D)
Joking aside, I think it'd be great in general if I had more options when buying flash units in the future rather than just be limited to a very specific set.

Thanks a bunch in advance!

hmmm, I had the same problem...fortunately I don't need flash too often and I'm still looking for a simple, straightforward hot shoe adapter!

in the meantime, I acquired a TT685 II flash unit and a X2T box...do double check all the compatibilty issues.

asked the folks in Wex at Moortown and they looked high and low online to no avail.

so far, I've had no valid explanation for the "missing" hot spot...either people will ave rejected the camera out-of-hand for this reason or they've landed where we are!

I did some searching and found a decent-looking flash on Amazon USA that specifically lists compatibility with the Canon EOS 250D/SL3

Godox TT685II-C Camera Flash E-TTL II GN60 2.4GHz Wireless HSS 1/8000s Flash Speedlite. Price $129 ( £105.79).  You can check it out here if interested. You could copy the item name and search for it on Amazon UK, but the flash might have a different product name there.

I hope this will be helpful.
