The Bay Area street art

The Bay Area street art is a too broad of a subject to be discussed on this forum. One kind of murals are relatively old realistic scenes depicting every day's life, painted on walls of small shops or garages. Unfortunately they are not maintained, and often destroyed either during building renovation, or demolition, when an older, stylish building is replaced with a modern monstrosity.

The pictures below (all taken with Coolpix cameras over last 20 years) show a few of such murals.

Present day. Faded and cracked mural in Palo Alto on the wall of a small store.

Year 2006. A mural in Los Altos. I am not sure if it still exists.

Year 2002. A huge mural on the wall of the big parking structure in Mountain View. Everything in it (palm trees, glass windows, people on the balcony) is just a painting on a big brick wall. A few years after this picture was taken the mural was removed (painted over with white paint).
