Anyone seen a comparison of the 27mm WR/II Vs the first one besides this video?

IMHO this comparison is extremely positive and pretty much guarantees I will be getting it. Starts at 5.43 mins in:

Everything else I have seen is just a review or first look or announcement. I would appreciate any links or info on more comparisons. πŸ‘πŸ™πŸ™‚

p.s. the hood is included according to the official press release but it is stated as an optional extra for £10 and £5 for the hood cap, according to ephotozine. Maybe it depends if you buy alone or in a kit.

I don't have any real comparisons to share, but trying out the little beast out a little these couple days I feel it delivers exactly what it promises: like the original, but with an aperture ring. Fits my shooting style perfectly, so it'll stay pretty much glued on my camera for the foreseeable future.

Also, it did come with the metal screw-on hood and a plastic cover for it (in addition to the normal, new-style cap, and a wrapping cloth), but then it wasn't bundled -- in fact it's only available separately here, not bundled with the X-E4...

AFAIK, the hood and caps are included with the lens. They are provided separately because they also fit the original 27mm and users of that lens can purchase them separately, and for anyone that loses them and needs replacements.
