Your D200 shutter count in 2021?
1

Just checked my D200 shutter count. Mine is at 13,008. Camera was purchased on release.

Is anyone lower than this and what are any counts at the other end of the scale?

Hopefully there are still some users of the D200 out there.

I never thought about checking the Nikon D200 that I wasn't actually interested in the first place. It is currently at 50,403 at still working perfectly! I was originally interested in the 80-200mm f/2.8 AF-D that someone was selling for cheap. I did a few shoots though- lovely camera for creating punchy high contrast images . I actually prefer it over my D800 for a scenario like that.

The D200 is still a solid camera, I use mine all the time to take photos of satellites at night. I will have to look around and figure how to get the shutter count.

I usually use this website to check out the shutter count :

All you have to do is upload a regular JPEG and it reads the EXIF data

Used it on many cameras from different brands and it has worked nicely.

lol

You are getting great use out of it. Despite my shutter count, I'll get good use out of my D200 although over a slightly longer period! haha

I used other cameras besides the D200 in the past so the D200 had little use. I totally love the camera and will certainly use it in the future. I'm not too fussed about megapixels, noise etc etc. It's still a great camera regardless and I'll happily use it 2021 and beyond.

I still have my backup D200.  Shutter count is 242.  That's right - two hundred forty two.  I normally buy two and sell the high mileage body.  I've got a D1H with 1003, D300 with 242 (that's really weird), D700 with 76 (seventy six), D500 with 30, D800E with 29, D850 with 10 (ten).  All have factory Nikon battery packs and are as new.  I've also got a D70 (non-factory battery pack) with 1183, but the rubber has started getting pretty sticky even with little use.  It's the only one with that problem.

I'll keep 'em forever.  Their cash value is minimal, but they can still take a photo as good as they ever could.  Never needed them as the main cameras never failed.

All in all though, the D1H still feels the best in my hands.

Oh, I read the EXIF data all the time. Image number is 7811 but I had not really looked at that before.

Just gave mine to a cousin to get him stared but it had 2900.

I saw a new in the box unit online a week or two ago.   I was really tempted.
