M100 doesn't turn off with Simga 17-50/2.8 OS

I recently purchased a used Sigma 17-50/2.8 EX HSM (OS) for my 90D. It works great with the 90D.

However, when I put it on my M100 using Canon adaptor, the screen of my M100 doesn't turn off when I turn it off. I have to take out the battery to shut it down.

Have anyone experienced anything similar?

I had the same experience with the Sigma 17-70 on my M5 and finally sold it.

Good to hear I am not the only one.

I have Tamron 17-50/2.8, 24-135, 70-300 VC and other Canon lenses. They all work fine with the M100.
