Sigma 30mm f1.4 Art or Canon 35mm f2 IS on Canon SL1

Hi,

Would like to hear from anyone who has used either of these lenses on their SL1!

What did you think of them and what was the image quality like?

Thanks

Canon EOS Rebel SL1 (EOS 100D)

Hi Sir,

I've used both lenses on the 100D before. I would certainly recommend the Canon lens.

The Sigma lens gave me back or front focusing issues and I needed to buy the dock to calibrate it. The Canon lens did not have such issues and with the added bonus on having IS, I think it more than makes up for the 1 stop difference in aperture.

Thanks! Had a change of plan and ordered the Tamron 35mm 1.8 instead!
