'The Wave' in moonlight
22

I was fortunate to win a permit to visit 'The Wave' yesterday. I decided to leave really early and capture it under the Waning Crescent moonlight. Here is one taken around 4:30 AM today - once my eyes adjusted to the darkness, it was really spectacular to see it bathed in the moonlight. Super windy though!

Cheers,

Amazingly cool place, and very good composition.

Did you have the place to yourself?

can't get any better, very nice composition! i would turn the exposure a bit higher, just for curiosity to see if it would help, YMMV.

I went very early morning, in the dark - so yes, I had it to myself for around 4 to 5 hours.

I love your photo. Been out west several times and the weather/sky has never been that "nice" for me.

Nice shot. Looks like a large, twisted chunk of taffy.
