Joining records from diff POV into one VR video

Hi,

There is an action I record from different points with any type (maybe 2d or 3d) cameras. Can I joining them to see that action from any wanted point of view in VR?
So my purpose is to see the records from different point of view.
Imagine, camera A and camera B recording the same action from different points and later I want to see this action from a third point of view in VR.
The reason is that I cannot record the action from that POV from I want to see it later.
Of course, using more cameras are not a problem.
Hope I am clear enough.

Thank you in advance!

In theory it is possible, but you need a special software to obtain a new virtual video for the third virtual point of view.

Re: Joining records from diff POV into one VR video

I have meditated more on your question in the meantime.
I suppose it's about a video stream.
1. If you choose (as producer) to change the image between different points of views in per-production stage, is very simple, in principle. But, if it's about 360 VR videos, the other cameras will be obviously visible. If you wants to erase them, is not an easy task. It's impossible for amateurs. It needs custom trained AI DL algorithms.
2. If you wants that the viewers to do the change at any point in time they wants (during playback), the technical solution is restricted to expensive commercial applications, if you even find one.
3. If you think about some possibility of movement (for audience) inside a specific area delimited by camera positions, the technical solution is not for "mortals".

Hi,

thank you for your reply. So you think it is almost impossible? In other words, I want to create a VR video in which you can walk around. So everything is fully mapped by several cameras. The problem is that the cameras cannot be in the center of the action.

I am sure you understood my question for the first time, I just clarified this again.

Which software of cameras do you suggest? Do you know any reference for this?

Thanks

The very short answer is: You can't do this with any techniques related to "video streams".
