EM5iii: Tethering?

Will JJP update the Olt Capture software to allow tethering for the EM5iii?  It works for EM5iii.

The problem is in the camera. I don’t think anyone knows whether that could be changed with firmware or not.

Unlikely.

It is a firmware thing. It was deliberately removed from the M5.3.

Marketing considers some features as 'Pro' and you have to buy the Pro camera to get them.

At the development of the M5.II 'tethering' was just considered an easily added feature, not something to distinguish professional cameras.  Similar case, the M10.2: Four (4!) custom modes on the dial.  The M5.III (higher model, newer and much more expensive) has only 3 custom modes, with only 1 on the dial. This too is considered a Pro feature.

Not the same thing but phone control via OI Share is very solid compared to the E-M5 II.
