that's a lot of focal length, are you handheld or tripod mounted?

The 3.5kg of my gear is too much for me for more than a quick grab shot (the Tree Creeper).

I usually hike and shoot with a Steadify, -see my post in one of your threads.

If I know that I'll mainly shoot from one location and there's not much walking then I like to shoot from tripod with gimbal head.

Great shot of the creeper. I find that a very difficult bird to photograph.

Great captures, sharp without being over-sharpened. Love the Goldfinch, but almost all of them are stunning.

That huge lens requires some serious dedication. Kudos!
