Few shots from last couple of days
14

Vancouver BC and Glen Valley/Fraser River. LOL had a blue heron scare the cr@p out of me as I was out in the bay with the low tide as it flew right in front of me.

Re: Few shots from last couple of days

I quite like the first two.

The statue is wonky to my eyes in the third.

From that vantage point if you pivoted west a bit would you be able to long expose jets on final approach for some interesting trails? Just curious.

Re: Few shots from last couple of days

That one is limited to how you can photograph it vs any horizon/landscape angle.

Good set, love the rendition. First shot is really eye catching.

I was testing out Dramatic Tone on this location but noticed I couldn't control the iso settings on the filters so decided to do a 5 bracket shot and tired it with HDR in Darktable.
Now I think I read you can add Art filters to a RAW image in camera so will try that soon. Dramatic Tone 1 looks pretty cool with the 7-14 at 7mm and water/treeline/clouds.

really beautiful shots. I like all three.
when you zoom all the way in, there are some strange patterns on almost all the bright spots on the buildings. What caused that?
