Winter walk with NX-Mini + 17 1.8 lens

I was looking for this rare lens for a while, I finally got it few days ago

There is almost no information, so here is something from my point of view.

17 1.8 is very compact on NX-Mini, looks and feels great.

The image quality seems very good wide open in the center, not that good only in the extreme corners. F2.8 makes it better for the corners. I like the background blur, the OIS is useful too.

I wish there was something like 35 2.0 for this mini... I don't have NX adapter, maybe my 30 2.0 could be useful too. Any idea where can I find the adapter now?

Here are few icy pics:

I recently sold mine finally. It was hard to give up.

A beautiful lens with fantastic image quality. Always found it to focus quickly and easily on close ups whilst getting good depth of field.

A highly underrated lens!

Very nice shots. I bet the NX mini would work well with the 30mm but I believe the adapter is hard to find, and expensive if you can find it.

I feel very lucky to have found one of these adapters. I use the 16-50mm OIS lens with it and the results are stunning. I love working with a 43mm starting focal length. Very close to what the human eye sees. I personally prefer the output to what my NX 300 and NX 500 produced. I'm sure the latter two are technically better in most respects, but there is just something about the Mini output that speaks to me. It renders differently.

My other setup is the Panasonic GM-1 with the14-140ii lens, which I adore, but the Mini has a special way of rendering, especially with the 16-50 OIS. The 17mm 1.8 is stunning as well.

This is interesting - you can have 16-50 as a standard zoom (with NX500) and a NX-mini in case a telephoto shoot is needed
