FTZ length - adds 80mm to the length?!

Could you please confirm how long is F to Z adapter? Would it be possible it is as long as 80mm?!

I am looking for fast VR lenses for my Z50 and I am considering Sigma 17-70 macro. It is 82mm long and I cannot believe that adapted to Z system it would be a 160mm beast

I've just found correction from Ken Rockwell that it is rather 30.5mm and not 80mm which Nikon says in the spec

The flange-to-sensor distance for the F mount is 46.5mm while that for the Z mount is 16mm. The FTZ fills the gap 46.5 - 16 = 30.5mm.
