GRIII - ISO 80 !!!!! ?

Hello.

I took a Photo using the Pentax AF201 to auto flash, the camera set in P mode, and it took an image at iso 80.

How is this possible? I thought ISO couldn’t go below 100.?!

Yes – I saw this, too. It must have been as you say with the AF201. There's not other way of getting iso 80, even manually that I could see. But I suspect it's below the native lowest iso of the sensor, in which case it would be emulated.

Meaning what? There's nothing in the manual about 'extended' iso.

EXIF in Lightroom catalog.  It seems bright scenes wide open the camera will pull ISO below 100.  I have several marked at 64 and 80.

Maybe camera can't be set below ISO 100 by the user but these speeds are a result of Auto DR ? Just a thought.

Interesting. Are you on auto-ISO? But I would still suspect that an iso of 64 or 80 is emulated to stop overexposure.

Can't remember what setting I was on at the time.  Just noticed after the fact the EXIF was showing pull ISO in bright scenes wide open.

Re: GRIII - ISO 80 !!!!! ?

This seems like a case where you have to wonder how accurate the EXIF is.
