Fledgling Peregrines consuming prey. Shot with the Fuji S1. Slight background cleaning in the first image. Otherwise Jpegs pretty much as they appeared out of camera except for resizing. Thank you for looking:

Cheers all...

Re: Clark's Nutcracker

Thanks for the comments! (both you and Bassy) I'll be posting more shots to my gallery next month. We get quite a few different birds to our feeder but it's tough to get a good candid shot. I'm working on a remote setup so I don't have to be outside.

Thanks Rodger, I have a couple more shots of that bird with nice sharp detail of the plumage but a bit darker. I really need to learn post processing. Right now all my shots are straight from the camera except with a bit of cropping on some. I always try to get the best into the camera coming from old school film

I've got a copy of Corel's Aftershot Pro 3 that came with the G9, I need to take the time to download onto my new 27" Mac and start learning!

A few shots during first lockdown in april. Wildlife for sure but from the garden only

Sorry if those pictures are too common, I'm not proficient in wildlife photography. But I had plenty of free time by then and nowhere to go except in the garden...

Yes this guy was sleeping at maybe 2 meters from us. It's when we hear it snoring that it catched our attention. It was not even disturbed then...

BNIF (Bee Not In Flight)

Nothing amazing (and I usually hate mosquito, even if that kind is inoffensive) but I liked the final rendering

Chrysolina americana. Got plenty of them each spring in my rosemarys

These are very well captured with excellent composure. That hedgehog (I think) is priceless as is your description. Nicely done.

Thanks for your comments. Yes it's an hedgehog, pretty common in my garden (well, I mean I see singles from time to time every year, and even a nest this summer); it's a protected specie here in Europe (don't know elsewhere). Unfortunately they are too often victims of cars when trying to cross the roads...
