I sure do like his photography.

I received one of his books last Christmas, the one with all the backstories to his photos, and it was a good read.

I'm branching out to other National Geo photographers of his era and enjoying their work too: Bill Allard, Sam Abell

I have seen your photos. Your pictures are beautiful and rustic. I can feel the artistry inside the photo. thanks.

Didnt he get in trouble for staging a photo or something?

I've never been particularly fond of his work. But he is a highly competent photographer.

He was seen as a photo journalist and a documentary photographer but was discovered to have digitally manipulated a number of his most famous images, undermining their veracity as documents. He no longer calls himself a documentary photographer and instead says he's a visual story teller.
