XM1 focus speed: As fast as XE2 and XA1?

Is the XM1 as fast at focusing as the XE2 and XA1? It came out a few months earlier, has the previous sensor, but the same processor. I have had some mixed responses so far. The XE1 is frustratingly slow for me, so I am hoping it is on a par with the other two. Thanks.

Going from X-M1 to X-E2 seemed to make AF faster and better, esp. with my 60/2.4. It is a while ago but it seemed fairly noticeable.

I owned the X-M1 with the 16-50 kit lens.  Even after firmware upgrading to improve AF, it was much slower focusing than my X-E2S. The X-E2 can now also focus faster as well, with firmware 4.0.

It's the same as X-A1 (same processor, contrast detect only.) I find the performance ok if you understand to put the focus box on an area with contrast and recompose if req'd.

X-E2 might be on the same processor but it has on sensor phase detect which can give better results, especially in continuous AF.

If I didn't have 3 cameras how would I take pictures of my 2 cameras?

Thanks all. I vaguely recall the XA1 seemed to surprise me with decent autofocus, so if it's the same as that, I will at least go give it a try.

Was probably just going to use the XM1 with a manual fisheye, maybe manual pancake (zone/hyperfocal focused) and 16-50mm. And if shooting looking down, which is the point of getting it, I am guessing a bit slower will be OK as it will take a touch longer to compose. Just have a feeling I will want to also use the 27mm too with it being so small, which wasn't fun on the XE1.
