FYI pen f/12-45mm/photolab 4/nope

For some reason dxo does not have a profile for the pen f with the 12-45mm pro lens.  There are profiles for this lens with the ep5, em5ii, gx9, gx8, g85. and others.  I've requested that this combo be profiled.  Not sure that I have much hope, but maybe...

From reading comments on this forum I have the impression it is the best m4/3 lens.  Could a profile really improve it?

I can use camera raw, but the files from photolab 4 are a bit sharper.  I guess I'm a little puzzled why dxo has ignored this particular combo.

I know it is annoying.  You can't use PL4 if there is no lens profile?  That is very surprising.

On no that's devastating. I just ordered Pen-F to pair with 12-45

Edit: I have made that suggestion. I hope they add that profile.

Does this mean even the simple lens corrections like lens distortion cannot be automatically corrected when using Pen-F and 12-45 with DxO? Or is this only going to affect "lens sharpness" module?

Isn't the only 14-150 the best lens of the kit-bunch?

The olumpus(es) or the tamron? Well, many said that the tamron is the best nicest for that range, and the olympus(es) are the last...

I'm afraid I don't know.  As soon as I discovered that the lens sharpness module was greyed out I didn't pursue any other corrections.  I immediately tried to find the profile and obviously I came up short.  Perhaps someone else could chime in here.  I think I'll put the lens on my em5ii because that camera and the 12-45mm pro play nicely together.

I know it did not make sense to me either... but i think maybe he meant the best trans standard zoom for m4/3

i still don’t know if it is so , but at least it can be argued

I have the same combo and have been bugging dxo to support it for months.

The Pen F and 12-45 is the perfect combo!

Hopefully we get enough requests in so they will.
