Very interesting comparison. They are both good- I don't think I can pick a winner. I do like the colours from the Pentax, but the Nikon is soooo close!

I owned a D600 for 11 months  and after 3 times with repairs due to excessive Sensor Debris, Nikon took it back and gave me a refund!!! I bought the D800e instead and have been Happy with it since.

Did you ever had the same problem with your D600? Your sensor looks clean with those pictures. I have since bought 5 Nikon DSLRS and 1 Mirrorless...

Thank you, I have always loved the photos of the D600 from the very beginning. It's still a very good camera.

Re: FX and MF

I would have liked to have had a D800e in 2012 Unfortunately a bit too expensive for me.

Yes, sensor problems, like everyone else.
A good cleaning solves the problem

The Pentax 645D has been found at more affordable prices for a few years.

I used to shoot with this crappy D610 for 3 months.I got rid of it and lost my money.
Unreliable focus system, washed colours, plasticky crappy photography tool.

Is it just me, or is there a commanding presence that image from MF have over 35mm... Its like the difference between a shot made with a phone and a 35mm. Once looks real the other looks ok but something is missing. I have a D800 and it amazes me every time as it nears that level of presence but its not quite there.

Re: FX and MF

I think Camillo is wondering if the Medium Format image has greater presence- the "medium format look".

It is a very nice image.

Sorry it was an observation not a question. Just noticed that MF has a more realistic look aside from the colors to the image. Some call it the MF look.

Personally, another factor that could play is the Kodak CCD of the Pentax 645D
I always had the impression that the CCD sensors gave a less digital rendering.

I'm gratified that you recognise my superiority.   Three months !.   That's it !.   From your comments, I can clearly see that you know next to nothing about digital photography.

I'm sure that you believe your own rhetoric and by your own admission incapable of setting up a camera to suit your preferences.

Enjoy your ignorance.  I'm sure that it will keep you warm at night.
