Re: New Lightroom and Photoshop released today

Is it me or did Adobe correct that ½ to 1 stop underexposure for the R5?

Interesting video on the new Color Grading Panel

Also, I can't seem to get Jeffrey Friedl's plug-ins to work in Lightroom Classic 10.0. Anyone else having a similar issue? (I have sent him an e-mail about this)

Re: New Lightroom and Photoshop released today

Still not available to me and I live on the East Coast of the US.  Such a pile of garbage that I cannot get what I paid for. I have tried logging in and out of creative cloud and restarting my computer. I don't need it instantly but I should have the option to get it.

I've stopped using them when ISO Adaptive presets kicked in. New catalogue so maybe there ares other changes. Jeffrey is usually pretty quick with updates.

A person on another site logged out and in and it worked. Usually that method works. First time I have read it failed.

Now that is fast lol. He has some great products and got a lot of good years out go them but LR does everything I need now.

LR was underexposing Canon R5 (and 6 I think) and I thought Sensei was a little wonky. Seems much better now.

It is actually brightening files I downloaded yesterday without me touching them.

Re: New Lightroom and Photoshop released today

I installed about 30 minutes ago.

Initially, I couldn't open any images; I was faced with this instead.

Switching off the Graphics Processor has done the trick in that regard and images (so far!) are opening as they should.

Unfortunately however, I also get shown that when I try to close the programme.

It doesn't matter whether I click on the "X" at the top, use the "close" button on the toolbar or the "exit" option under "File."

It just won't go away.

Ending it in Task Manager does the job and it's not hugely inconvenient but I'd rather it worked properly.

Early days perhaps . . . ?

On a much brighter note, the crop overlay, which has been unusable on here for months, is now working correctly.

I installed this morning, the only problem is that I have to remove and only for Photoshop and Bridge the version 2020, no problems with Lightroom than working fine and I start to play

Re: New Lightroom and Photoshop released today

Update on the erm, update.

Occasionally, PS can't save my finished images. It gets to 0% and freezes.

Also, the "press and hold spacebar and drag to move" tool doesn't work.

I think I'll revert to the old version for the time being; the advantages don't yet out weigh the advantages.

What OS are you running?

I just saw this

  • The minimum Windows 10 supported is v1903 or later. Windows 7 and Windows 10 v1803 or v1809 are no longer supported.
  • The minimum macOS now supported is 10.14 (Mojave) - 10.13 (High Sierra) is no longer supported.

Yes,

because this time the new Photoshop is new and don't overwrite the older version, if you cancel the older version remember of copy your plugins in the new Photoshop
