Re: Fishing at the Gardens #1

I've never owned or even tried a fisheye lens WN and would never have thought to use one to photograph flowers. I particularly like the image of the rose in the centre surrounded by others.

Take care and stay well

Another Walk in the Woods

A brief dry spell so me head for the forest walk at Barcaldine. Plenty water in the rivers and a bit muddy underfoot.

Still plenty green leaves on the trees.

Re: small and low

Really like the ladybird. I could get down that low as long as somebody else was around to help me get up again.😊

Thanks. If Belgium looks even just a little like Scotland, it can only be a good thing.😀

Re: Another Walk in the Woods

Thanks Paul. At the moment I'm using an 18-55 kit lens while I get used to the camera. I am waiting for a Sigma 17-70 which is well reviewed. If you have any suggestions I would be pleased to hear them.

Re: Another Walk in the Woods

Yes, there still is lots of green on the trees where you are and what appear to be puddles on the trail. I like the second best.

This doesn't appear to be a physically challenging walk--mostly flat. Any mountains planned?

Re: EM5.3 is Back

I have had my E-5 into Olympus for repair and the "Replaced Main Circuit Board" box and cleaning box is always checked.

I hope they nailed the problem for you.  Multiple trips to the repair show for the same problem is frustrating--whether it be a car or a camera.

Old photo. Haven't used it since I picked it up. Just a test photo in the store.

Re: Another Walk in the Woods

Thanks Craig. Lots of rain recently and again today. Wish I could send you some in exchange for some sun. I never plan too far ahead at this time of year but if the weather gods are smiling, then yes I will head for the hills.

Thank you.   The image benefits from beautiful weather, the timing of the image (date, hour) and Hand Held High Resolution.   My contribution was to carry the camera from the car to the location.  Happily I didn't fall into the water and test the weather sealing.

Hope the repair proves effective Harvey and you get an opportunity to use the camera soon.

Thanks for coming along, Dave .... The Fish doesn't get out much but occasionally I think it needs to be taken for a walk.  Then I need to see the world through that lenses eye ...  and try to find compositions that use that different view of the world ... Sometimes it works. .....
