Noise level and shutter delay on Canon M50 Mark II

I have a Canon M5 and my only complaints with it are its shutter delay and its sensor noise level. How does the M50 Mark II compare in these areas?

I've just checked my M5 for shutter delay, and mine doesn't give any suggestion of a delay when taking a photograph.

Any chance that your camera has some other feature selected?
