LEDs can have problems with color rendering

There are some exceptions like Nichia Optisolis or Sunlike LED lamps which are near perfect, but expensive and limited. Flash is a short burst, it cannot work well with electronic shutters, if you need pixel shift or want to eliminate shutter shock for ultimate sharpness. Some LEDS also flicker too slow which can make stripes to the photos with ES. I still use incandescent lamps to be safe with natural color rendering, but going above 3000-4000K light temps cannot happen without special lamps.
