Samsung Galaxy Tab Liter S6 Lite question

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 6 Lite as soon as it came out - I Really like it & it does all I want - except for one thing.  I have downloaded several images(50+ now) & when I open the Gallery they are there - until about 2 weeks later, some of my images are gone. If I am scrolling thru looking at my images sometimes I get a light grey back ground with a big white circle and an white exclamation point in the middle - I can still see the thumbnail but the image is gone.  Samsung wasn't much help on this - any ideas?? This happens ALL of the time & I find it very annoying.

I'd try to connect Tab to the computer, get into the images folder and look if the files are still there.

If I were you, I would put a microSD card into the tablet, and set your download program (whatever it is) to write onto the microSD card, instead of onto device storage.

My theory is that your tablet has a "feature" of deleting old photos when the images folder grows too large.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite question

I kinda wondered about that - most images are around 321 to 370mb jpeg files sizes.  Thanks for your input.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite question

I finally got it figured out - I am saving my images to My Drive, so after they are in the gallery for a certain length of time they wind up in My Drive. I actually would prefer to have them in my gallery - but for now, No problems.
