Define "fully function".  Will it AF?  Yes.  Will it Zoom?  Yes.

It should be working no prob., but I do have the same camera, (XA-1)but with the kit lens 16-50 instead, I was also wondering if the 15-45 motorized is a better lens overall?...

Cheers

That is great to know, just feel the 15-45 lens along with the black X-A1 is such a good set up for a small pocket sized carry around camera.

I had one before and despite the limitations of  poor screen visibility outside it had superb IQ and low noise at high iso.

Donald,

Yes love mine, (bought from someone which was getting rid of it;) this little beast is capable of stunning photos, (love the High ISO performance of the Bayer sensor here;) AF is Ok for my usage, I know there are better Fuji cam for that, but don’t do much action/ sport Photography with it at the moment, as I only have the kit lens +I bought an MD to FX adapter for my Minolta 45mm F2.0 lens ( to use it manually) and what an incredible sharp lens it is;)

Enjoy it;)

Marco

Would like to try the 15-45mm. Lens on it as it will make it more compact;)...
