Looking to buy a high FPS video recorder
1

Hi, I want to start my new youtube channel where I'll post super slomo videos after a little editing in premiere pro. So all I can find is xperia xzs and xperia xz premium as they can shoot 960FPS in 720p.. but I can't find a dslr or camcoder in budget which can do the same. So should I go with the phones or is there any dslr by Canon or Sony cam which can do the same?

My budget is for used one : 176$

Thanks in advance.

960fps at high resolution is really at the leading edge of current chip technology.

Large sensors are naturally slower to readout than small sensors - I've been told the signaling lines have higher capacitance. Because of this, it's a real struggle just to get high resolution 120fps in large-sensor cameras even in the newest models.

Like the Xperia cellphone camera, the RX100 IV, V, VI will also shoot 960fps for a very short time. All these cameras use Sony stacked image sensors which allow for super-fast pixel readout and temporary data storage. The Sony A9 I/II also have stacked sensors but they're limited to 120fps.

Good luck in your search.

You'd be hard pressed to find a normal camera at that price, let alone what you're asking for!

Then I guess I'll buy 1300D used and Xperia XZ premium or XZs in that budget.
