Is it me or does gyro stabilization look amazing?

The only thing is that you have to record your video footage completely unstabilized, which is gonna be a shaky mess. But it's worth it if you can stabilize in post so well.

Only available in the newest generation of cameras. My wallet just let out a small burst of tears.

Yeah looks really nice, I was initially disappointed that the “active steadyshot” wasn’t included in the settings but delighted to learn the gyro data is saved to stabilise in post. I’m trying my best to hold back my wallet

Amazing with a crop and the need to get high shutter speed ?

A crop is pretty standard for all digital stabilization, but yes, it's definitely worth considering.

The reviews have been pretty vague about how high the shutter speeds need to be. I definitely want to hear more on this.
