I like Anne. She is a woman not like many others.

Re: Butterflies and Swans

I know you do not do things by accident. This is why I am asking you why you left the WB so that the blue sky makes the swans blue instead of white?  I would have clicked the wing with the WB dropper myself. I am asking in a friendly fashion, not to criticize.

This week with my A6400+55mm f/1.8+Luminar4 BW

This Maine Coon kitty loathed me and my camera. He stared at me from a distance and when I finally got close enough, he shook his head and took off. "No take photo!" said his body language.
BTW the 'Erase' tool in Luminar4 works quite nicely now after the last update.

Who's the good boy! Goldens are golden but their friendliness can get on the nerves. They love to tip the coffee cup you are holding...

You are right with your comment. When I took these photos I could hardly see the swans in the glare of the sun. I'' have to see if I can change the WB in PP.

Early morning in the vines
1

The grape harvest started about 10 days ago.  I thought I might catch some pickers in the Golden hour.  No such luck, but some decent clouds ..

A6600, Touit 1.8/32

This is a composite of the same picture given two slightly different presets in DxO PhotoLab 3, and merged in GIMP (because PL3 doesn't know from layers).

Re: Early morning in the vines

I am not sure what you tried to achieve but the end result is weird.
I do not think it is aesthetically pleasing. This is just my opinion.

What I wanted was this:

OOC apart from HDR Natural preset in DxO PL3

with deeper red in the sky

It came into the river and spun 180 to back into the Lafarge slip

Recently I mostly film with my camera but today I took some UW-photos (I changed by accident the settings to BW, but it's still OK result)

Cheers
