Beating the Heat
2

Even tho I recently acquired a https://saltysurfhousings.com/product/sony-a-proii-housing/ for my Sony rig, I still prefer the no fuss bomb proof TG-6 camera for all day adventure in harsh conditions.

Yesterday, it was probably 115° plus on the water at Lake Mead and I covered over 110 miles (89 nautical) in about 4 hours on my jetski.  That requires jumping in the water about every 15 minutes to cool off.

For you gear heads, I am now using a Garmin Instinct watch that has a marine setting which is great for the jetski.

Even tho it was Labor Day holiday weekend here in the states, probably due to the heat, there was minimal water craft traffic on the lake.

This is the end of the "road" per my Google Earth Capture above.   I guess this used to go much further 10+ years ago when the water level was much higher.  I implemented some zoom on the foreground rocks.

Hard to shoot with my left hand at 45mph and the right hand on the throttle.

Some really fantastic landscapes out there.
