M100 with TS 35MM 2.8

This is my favorite M. Use it to take pictures of things to sell online.

Many of it's photos help make the sale.

I think this thread was meant for posting your favorite M photos, not for discussing what camera to use for online selling. At least the headline suggests that, I believe

Do you mean photos taken with M cameras or photos of M cameras ?

Not the Sharpest (30 th sec with movement) or cleanest (M original at ISO800 in an old Capture one revision) but it captured the moment Candidly whereas the sight of the 1DS3 + L + Flash (as my wedding rig was back then) was far from Candid . always loved using smaller unobtrusive cams for these kinda fun shots you`d use an iPhone 11 for now

I much prefer using my smartphone for that purpose. The apps for various online marketplaces make posting from your phone so fast and efficient. I can probably create an entire post using just my phone faster than I could ingest images from my camera. I have found that for online selling, good lighting and composition are for more important than the differences in sensor noise. Especially since the majority of people viewing the listings are also using a mobile device.

I guess. I have never owned a smartphone or used one to take photos.

Have no plans to.

The more I use those knobs the better I get at using them.

Thanks. This is from a show that I wrote, directed and acted in last Christmas. The show is the Christmas Revels. There are nine companies around the country that do this show, which started in Cambridge MA. Each company does a different show, involving singing, dancing, and acting, each year, but there are common elements that all the shows have, notably a theme of death and rebirth, to celebrate the ending of the old year and start of the new. Usually the shows have a national/cultural theme (e.g. Irish, English, Scandinavian, New World Pioneers, etc.). For last year's show, I wrote a story about Shakespeare being disillusioned near the end of his life, planning to burn all his plays. To persuade him not to do that, many of his characters come to life, including the three witches from Macbeth. This woman, a long-time member of our cast, really got into the role, and her makeup got progressively more extreme, and more fun. She also wore ruby slippers, which she claimed to one of the other witches that she got from a little girl, who had a little dog, which was delicious.

Thank you for the interesting explanation.  That sounds like something my wife and I would enjoy.  Is there anything offered in southern CA?
