HDMI Capture with M200 -- Wrong Video Aspect (Windows 10 / Facebook Messenger)

I'm using an HMDI to USB capture device with Windows 10 so my M200 can act as a webcam, and it works fine, except:  Facebook Messenger chooses the wrong video aspect, so the video appears distorted.

It seems like this should be easy to fix, and I'm a reasonably sophisticated user, but I'm stymied.  I've traced the problem to this:  The capture device offers a variety of resolutions. Some of them are stretched, and FB Messenger (in a browser or standalone) chooses the wrong option.  What I can't figure out is how to force a particular resolution.  Is there really no way?

Thanks for any help.

Do you know that Canon has a free Web Cam utility?

You can try with this program

Unfortunately Canon's program only offers  very low resolution.
