Got my X-T30 today

Hi guys,

I've just upgraded my X-T10 after more than 4 years of use. During that time the X-T10 has helped me capture some of my own favorite photos and I'll probably continue to use it as a second camera.

But wow, what an upgrade the X-T30 is! It's an improvement in every possible way. I went for a long walk in the city center today to test it with three lenses I brought with me (Rokinon 12mm f/2, 27 2.8 and 60 2.4). As many have stated before, those Fuji primes operate quite a bit faster now. And AF is so much better in general, including in low light. With the Rok 12/2 however I had to be extra careful when focusing due to the increase in pixel count. I'm still overwhelmed by everything the new camera has to offer, and I haven't even updated it to the newest firmware yet!

Okay, enough talking, here's some of today's pics - all of them are processed raws.

Can't wait till go out shooting again tomorrow.

I'd appreciate C&C but also any tips from those who have made the same upgrade from the X-T10 to the T30 (or other cameras from the same generations).

So I've a question for those who know better. Can I safely charge my W126s battery on the charger that came with my X-T10, BCW126?

Yes, you can.

As mentioned in another thread[1], Fuji X-T3`s manual[2] even states that "a BC-W126 battery charger may be supplied in place of BC-W126S in some countries or regions" ("Supplied Accessories", p. xix).

For anyone interested in a bit more in-depth info about the whole power management thing, "Powering the Fuji X-T3"[3] is a worthwhile (and quite extensive) read.

Nice shots. I do like this body style and the 27...

X-T10 and 27mm is basically my wife's camera (she bought the camera and I basically gave her the lens) but I can use it when I want to go tiny.

I love the 27. I always have it in my bag and it's usually attached to a body instead of a body cap. But then I might not even change to another lens as it's so good!
