the 50D did not get a fippy screen.....

The upgrade from the 50D is the 60D, and that one had a flippy screen. Try to see the pattern to interpret what the word upgrade means here.

The M50ii won't have IBIS either, but will get a better sensor IMO. Simply makes sense.

24MP M50 (with lens): $649.99

32MP M6 II (with lens and viewfinder): $1,099.00

32MP 90D (with lens) $1,349.00

It's possible, but I don't anticipate a premium feature to end up in an entry-level camera.

(Prices from Canon USA online store.)

Every possible outcome has it's kind of weirdness here. We'll see.

A number of things don't add up here unless my logic is all wet. People expecting  the 32Mp sensor in a M50mkii essentially makes it a M6mkII with a built in EVF for $200 less. Doesn't sound right to me. Makes me think M50mkII isn't happening. And wouldn't it make sense to announce some new ef-M lenses prior to announcing a high end M body like an M7 or M whatever to try to attract buyers to board the "flagship"? I'm just a guy sitting at a computer wondering if canon has painted themselves into a corner and my logic may have nothing to do with the Canon plan.

the pattern is all incorrect.. you say

>>>>>50D

the 50D had 15MP instead of 10MP  you say ..which leads me to believe you are talking about the 50D as it had indeed has 15 MP instead of 10 you say which indeed its predecessor crentanly did hove 10MP the 40D

i don't see how i can strapulat from what you say that the 60D had a flappy screan and that was the upgrade

but never mind

There is no argument for FF vs APS-c (or m43) with shallow DOF..as it's a law of physics and a very subjective personal thing if you want to make use of the shallow DOF only FF can offer
