Possible flaw in Note 20/20 Ultra camera

I've just seen this report about a manufacturing flaw allowing dust into the lens assembly: Camera flaw?

So far, the reports have only come from Korea and mine looks fine. We'll have to wait and see if it was just a problem with an early batch.

Re: Possible flaw in Note 20/20 Ultra camera

Another flaw is the ridiculous quality of the 50x zoom. It was a joke on the S20 at 100x. So they pulled it back to a more acceptable 50x for the new Note but that sill isn't good imo. Maybe 30x.

It shows that cameras are getting closer than ever to phones. Once they can zoom that will be a major blow for cameras. Dust is a major concern as they are supposed to be waterproof. I am never shy about getting my Note 10 wet.

It depends on what you want to do with that zoom. Capturing an image to print is not something to try with the 50x, but it is great for taking a snap of something far away to share. Here's a pair of shots taken from inside my house, through a screened window this morning. They let us check out the bird that had landed on our neighbor's roof and the image is fine for sharing on Facebook.

(It appears to be a Turkey Vulture getting sum sun to warm up.)
