Should I turn off lens OIS (eg 18-55) when using with X-T4 IBIS?

Should I turn off lens OIS (eg 18-55) when using with X-T4 IBIS?

Should the stabilization on the lens be turned off when using it on a body which already has IBIS on it like the X-T4?

Or will the 2 work together just fine?

Thanks.

It's all or nothing - the OIS switch on OIS lenses turns off ALL stabilization. There is no way to independently control IBIS vs OIS. When an OIS lens is mounted, the OFF option dissappears from the IS menu in the camera as well.

IBIS and OIS work together.

If you turn off OIS on the lens  you also turn off IBIS, at least on the X-H1. There is not way to use a Fujifilm lens with OIS turned off and leave IBIS on. I  am not sure the other way around... turning off the IBIS but leaving on the OIS.  I never had a reason to try it

I do not have X-T4.... yet

So all in all it handles OIS+IBIS automatically; thanks for the answers.
