Would you say my Sigma overexposes?

Hi all,

I really would like to my Sigma 30 mm 1.4 ART, but it keeps bothering me, that it seems to overexposure on my Nikon D5600. Would you agree it overexposes?

And is this a common thing for these lenses as far as you know?

Please compare the attached photos, taken with the Nikon kitlens 18-55 (every first photo) and the Sigma. Thanks for your comments.

Have a nice day!

Peter

Or your Nikon lens underexposes?

Did you try to use spot metering? You probably used Matrix and over all it is not very reliable with all over the frame. Use spot and histogram to make it tighter with less variation.

Edit: Your shutter speed with Nikon lens is higher. Match the shutter speed with Sigma and I bet you will get the same exposure.

Thank you for your suggestions SushiEater!

I will try spot metering and matching shutter speed.

Have a nice day!
