Sony RX100V with Sony underwater housing
1

New to underwater photography. When using the Sony RX100V in the MPK-URX100A housing, then the control wheel cannot be used (due to housing design). Normally this is OK, but when I'm shooting in Manual mode, then I cannot change the shutter speed.

Sony's website has this comment regarding this issue (http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/support/acc/housing/mpk-urx100a/en.html?id=pdt): “Control wheel cannot be operated after installing the camera in the housing.” But does anyone has a better solution? Thanks

Switch the camera to shutter priority, use lens ring to set shutter speed, switch back to manual mode. Alternatively, use Ikelite, SeaFrogs Salted Line or Nauticam housing.
