Applying LUT to live video / hdmi output?

Does anyone know which Panasonic cameras that have 4K HDMI output also support applying a LUT / color profile before sending to the HDMI output? I don't want to record, I just want to live stream video that has had a custom color profile applied to it.

I really like the G7, but I'm not sure if it's possible to apply a color profile to the image.

Thanks

The GH5 and GH5S appear to be the two to support it (after you get the DMW-SFU1 upgrade key for V-log L for GH5).

See page 186 for the vlt LUT files it supports under [V-LogL View Assist] for showing on camera screen and also p191 for the [LUT HDMI Display] setting that allows you to display over HDMI.

G7 doesn't even support V-Log L so no way it supports that. GH4 and G9 supports it after that upgrade key, but they don't appear to support any LUT in-camera.

I presume you aren't talking about just changing different profiles (like between Natural, Cinelike D etc), which presumably is applied as soon as you change them under Menu > [Rec] > [Photo Style]

The Panasonic G9 with VLOG upgrade does support custom Luts both internally and through HDMI output.

You are right, I stand corrected, I looked up only the firmware summary and features page for the G9 and it was not mentioned there, but in the advanced manual firmware section it is mentioned on page F-27 (p368).

Re: Applying LUT to live video / hdmi output?

Right, I want to make my own LUT and apply it to the HDMI output. I have a webcam I'm streaming to youtube and I want to remove atmospheric haze, which is pretty much constant because the subject is about 5 miles away (an airport). I'm using an Nvidia video card to apply a color profile now, but having the camera apply a special LUT would simplify things. Thanks for the info, I'll look at the GH5 and G9.
