Used this for a wedding. It’s huge. Until it was pointed at me I didn’t realise how intimidating it was to have portraits done with it. No IS is problematic. And it’s so large you can’t manipulate it quickly. That said, great IQ.

I shoot with this lens for weddings. I won’t touch another standard zoom so I actually have two of them, one is for backup. I never take it off my main camera.

I know! I do a lot of weddings with just Fuji gear and it's fine (depending on how much I'm getting paid I'll also rent cameras) but then one of the guests turns up with a D850 or a a7riii and I'm thinking I'd better go put the vertical grip on to make me look at bit more professional (and because a fuji battery will last less than an hour at a wedding!).
