Power grip PG-31

An old accessory for the SD1 and other SD cameras, I recently bought what was the only one for sale either in Europe or the US. It looks new and arrived in a sealed plastic bag but without box or manual. There is a very brief description on the Sigma UK website but nothing detailed. Can anyone give me a link to a manual?

I bought one from Japan about a year ago and there really isn't much to know, you take off the SD1's battery door (use a small screwdriver to slide the spring loaded pin on its hinge) fit the grip and add 2 batteries. The on/of button on the grip allows you to use the shutter button on the grip and when off saves accidentally firing the shutter.

Re: Power grip PG-31

Similar to the PG21 for the SD15 it reads two batteries incorrectly. It's best to just use one battery at a time.

Dark slide,

There was no manual, just a sheet in various languages. All you need to do is remove the battery door from the camera and store it on the side of the grip part that goes into the battery chamber. Bolt it firmly on to the camera, insert two batteries fully charged at the same time, preferably in a dual charger so that they are equally charged and you are ready to go.  I generally leave the vertical position switch on the grip turned off to avoid accidental firing of the shutter.

I have had mine since 2012 and it still works without any problems.
